system scheme in accordance with the requirements of BS 7958: 1999
including BS 7858: 1996 and the relevant requirements of BS 7499:

The name and address of the CCTV scheme holder should
be on display.
In the event of a complaint of positive feedback it
is essential that the customer is able to make swift contact with
the controller or designated coordinator of the scheme.
If it is a Data Protection request, the prospective
Data subject should be able to observe from the relevant signs:
Once contact has been made it should be a speedy
service delivery.
Making a Complaint... or Feedback
Scope:
Our procedure applies to all complaints regarding the
CCTV Management System, whether formal or informal, written or
verbal.

On receipt of a complaint, record full
details.

Send Acknowledgement letter.

Record full details on relevant form.

Decide on appropriate action.

Record action and results.
-
Retain report and review at QMR.

When customer is satisfied 'Close'
complaint.
